Chucky is Ready for Vegetarian Thanksgiving #2

"None is more impoverished than the one who has no gratitude. Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy."

Greetings of the sincerest kind my friend!  May you enjoy a peaceful and well rested holiday weekend, if you so celebrate.  Take that second or two to ponder what you have, what you hold true to heart, and those whom you love.  A remembrance might be in order.  This is the time and the moment to focus on that light at the end of your tunnel and set the woes aside.

This will be a blog posting short and simple.  Tiffany and I are celebrating our second Thanksgiving as vegetarians.  As was the case last year, we join our carnivorous relatives and share time at the table.  On their side is a warmed dead bird and on our side will be a "Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute" from Field Roast Grain Meat Company in Seattle, Washington.

Of all the delicious items that Tiffany and I have had privilege to share these past thirteen months, this is perhaps my favorite single item and certainly my favorite meat-alternative vendor.  I have yet to find a single Field Roast item anything less than absolutely delicious.  Want the best tasting vegan Smoked Apple Sage sausage?  Go with Field Roast and you will NOT be disappointed my friend!

The most beautiful thing about the roast?   It's not only spectacular on Thanksgiving Day but makes some truly to-die-for leftover meals.  Specifically, I like making faux meatloaf sandwiches using roast slices and Vegenaise.

Oh yeah... Another wonderful thing about the Thanksgiving time of year (besides quality time spent with the family)?  Hoover's Essential Health Market places their Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute on sale!!!  Hmm... guess who has purchased an extra one to be stowed away in his freezer?  <hehe>

Tiffany and I hope that you have a most wonderful Thanksgiving Day, spend quality time with family, and post-pone the shopping until another day (Friday).

Hi-dee hi-dee here's-wishing-you-a-Happy-Thanksgiving-ho my friend!
